In Allegan Michigan, there is a steakhouse that is like no other. The Grill House allows the customer to actually cook their own dinner on an indoor 8' x 10' grill. You have your choice of steak, chicken, tuna, shrimp, or kabobs. I am still trying to figure out if this is a good idea or a really bad one. What are your thoughts?
There is a place in Colorado near Beaver Creek called The Minturn Country Club. My family has been eating there on ski trips for almost 20 years now, and we love it. You pick out your steak at the "butcher's counter," season it however you want, and grill it. They're pretty good steaks, too.
I was just about to post about the country club BP. We've been longtime fans of the town of Minturn in general; amazing farmers markets in the summer as well.
If I HAVE to go to a restaurant....I'd prefer to do it this way:)
My wife and I went out to eat dinner Saturday night and realized it was the first time in over 6 months. Why so long? We'd much rather spend the $$ on something we cook on the Egg:)

I don't understand the concept of going to a restaurant to cook your own food. If I want to cook my own steak, i'll do it in my own backyard.
We actually used to have a cook your own steak place on Second Avenue. I can't remember what it was called.

But yes, the steaks are good and it's a fun time.
well I should have done a little more research before I said "like no other". the place is supposedly haunted though.
